Lissa Duty founded her social media consulting firm in 2009 after discovering a passion for leveraging online social media platforms to brand clients and small businesses. She uses her energy and marketing talents to assist her clients in growing their business and network via social networking websites, such as Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter.

She is currently Assistant Organizer for the DFW Social Media Marketing Group, which has over 1000 members and growing continually, Assistant Director for Biz Link Global, a national professional networking group and Organizer for the annual DFW Rocks Social Media Conference. She has been recognized by She Takes on The World as one of 25 Wonder Women, along with the likes of women such as Arianna Huffington, Forbes Women and Ali Brown.

She has coached doctors, lawyers, and countless other professionals, privately and in groups about the power of social media and how to understand and use these social networking websites. Lissa has had the opportunity to work with Mari Smith, coined as “Pied Piper of the Online World” by Fast Company and many other well known professionals in the industry. She started in the social marketing media industry in early 2009 managing clients’ social media accounts for Shama Kabani, who has been recognized as “An Online Marketing Shaman” by Fast Company before founding LissaDuty.com.

Her vast work experience over the past 20 years ranging from entrepreneurial social media consulting, customer service, marketing operations manager, office manager and executive assistant gives her a hands-on “go getter” determination. She leverages both her analytical and creative ability to keep organized, focused and achieve success for her clients.

Her services include private social media coaching, group social media training classes, and social media campaign design, setup and implementation, which includes video marketing, article marketing, email marketing, etc.  Lissa can be found speaking around the DFW Metroplex to local chambers and groups about leveraging social media and the importance of online branding in her spare time.

In addition to social media marketing, Lissa is a virtual assistant, providing operational support to small business owners and consultants around the globe, from general administrative duties to creating their newsletters, website mainteneance and scheduling their webinars.

Previous positions at Raytheon Payroll Center, the State of Texas and the Walmart Distribution Center Payroll and Transportation offices have given her valuable insight into both the quality of work required for organizations and the need for effective “Girl Friday” type services. Her first marketing position was with Marketing Professionals as the Communications Center Manager, Marketing Manager and finally as Business Operations Manager until the company ceased operations in 1998.
