Why do you have a Twitter account?
- You read an article that said you should
- A friend told you to
- Because everyone else is doing it
- You were hoping to get rich QUICK
If you did it for any of the above reasons, that’s ok, after all that is how Twitter became popular and has became the powerful social media marketing – networking website it has become today. The question to ask yourself is: NOW that you have an account – What are you going to do with it?
You need to learn how to use Twitter to achieve your business goals. You need a Twitter Training. So many make the mistake of thinking using Twitter is easy, they feel silly and don’t want to ask someone for help! They think “I don’t need any help sending a Tweet”. Sending a Tweet is fairly easy, but sending a Tweet that will get your Followers, Retweets, Mentions and conversations that develop into clients / sales, not so easy.
This two hour Twitter Training focuses on these main topics:
- SEOing Your Twitter Profile and Creating e Twitter Background
- Sending a Tweet, Retweet and having a conversation on Twitter
- Differences between a Tweet, Retweet, Mention, Direct Message and when to use
- Finding People to Follow / Getting Followed Back
- Learning what kind of content you should share and why
- Proper Twitter Etiquette (Twitiquette as I like to say)
- Account Registration on Twellow, SocialOomph and Bit.ly
- Training – Using Twitter on Hootsuite to manage your Twitter account
Twitter is easy to use, once you understand how to use it properly and effectively to achieve your goals. This two training is designed to achieve exactly this.

All too often I hear the following statements from business owners about their Twitter success:
Problem: I have a Twitter account and I Tweet, but I don’t get any business. Answer: They only have a small number of Twitter followers.
Problem: I make sure and Tweet my blog post everytime I publish a new one. Answer: They only blog once a week, so that is the only Tweet they send out.
Problem: I have followers on Twitter, but I am not sure what they are following or how to follow back. Answer: They never learned how to use Twitter, They got an account because someone told them to.
Problem: I make sure and send at least one Tweet every day. Answer: They are not Tweeting often enough. The Twitter stream is continually updating, old Tweets are pushed down to the follower timelines. They never see the one daily Tweet.
Still not sure if this training is for you? Email Lissa@LissaDuty.com your Twitter issue.

Lissa was an amazing help. In just a few short hours she opened up so many possibilities for our small import business through Twitter and soon, Facebook. I am amazed at how EASILY she trained me to understand social media — not just the mechanics of how to get things done online but also the communication / advertising / marketing aspects of doing business online. Wonderful! I feel I can do this for our company with her help–I can’t say enough positive things about her and I look forward to working with her again.~ Cecilia Nielsen, Flensted Mobiles
I highly recommend Lissa’s services. I knew very little about Twitter, and had to learn in a short time under pressure for a project I was engaged in. Lissa was the perfect trainer in this situation. I was amazed at how much I was able to learn from her in just two hours. She is very good at understanding what you actually do and don’t need to know for your specific project, and she is also very good at communicating exactly the right points. It’s more than training—it’s a professional consultation designed to meet your specific needs.
Lissa has a positive attitude and a friendly manner, making it easy and fun to learn from her. She also has very good business judgment, which is important in the social media realm. It’s not enough to learn how to use the tools; what’s most important is learning how to use them in a sensible, appropriate way to create the results you want. Lissa has the knowledge and experience to provide this level of support. I think her services are a tremendous value. ~ Sarah Rolph, Professional Writer www.SarahRolph.com
